“I had tried running myself with the couch to 5km app many times, but never managed to run for more than 5mins and I would give up. I saw online that Dawn was doing group coaching with beginners and I said I would give it a go. Dawn was patient and understanding and running as part of a group was motivating and fun. By the end of the 8 weeks I had achieved what Dawn had promised. I could run non stop for 30mins. I went on to do Park Runs, 5ks, 10ks and moved on to Dawn`s advanced running class. Dawn has given us all the skills and the confidence to run. Two years later and I am still running with Dawn, keeping fit, having fun and making new friends. I am so glad that I found Dawn and would strongly recommend anybody wanting to start out or maintain running weekly to do Dawn`s classes.”

“I cannot recommend this course highly enough. I was nervous starting thinking I might not be able for it but how it is structured and the pace it is set at sets you up for success. Dawn has an amazing wealth of knowledge but her kindness and interest in helping each of us was incredible. There was support when we needed it during the week also. This is one of the best investments I ever made and there is a fun and social side to it as well. I am looking forward to being in the next group.”

“I started running with Dawn just after turning 50. I had asthma years ago and as a result, never did any sports. I find the classes really enjoyable and you learn so much about techniques, breathing and posture. Thanks to Dawn I was able to run my first 5km race in LImerick. Since then I have completed 16 more races over the past few years. I would fully recommend Dawn`s classes as I have been doing them continually and look forward to them each week.”

“I would highly recommend DL Running and Fitness. I joined Dawn`s beginners course in 2018 and went from zero to running for 30mins non stop in 8 weeks. It is a relaxed course with gradual build up and no pressure attitude. I have progressed to Dawn`s advanced class where the support from Dawn and the group will keep you going when it gets tough. I always recommend this class when people say “ you look great, what are you doing?” Its a great way, in my opinion the best way to get fit, loose a few lbs and meet like minded people. Dawn is a fantastic instructor and a great motivator. Ladies you will not be sorry you joined this group. DL Running and Fitness all the way, 5 star rating.”

“I completed the beginners running course and advanced running course with Dawn on a few occasions. The beginners course is a gentle and gradual introduction to running and Dawn`s professionalism and expertise ensures that you always feel comfortable and relaxed. Dawn makes everyone feel at ease and her warm up and cool down routines ensure that you never feel stiff or sore after a run. She makes running accessible to everyone and you experience a huge sense of achievement when you run for 30mins at the end of 8 weeks. “I started having socially distant PT sessions with Dawn in my house when the Covid 19 restrictions eased. These sessions have transformed my body over an 8 week period. I now have great definition and tone in my legs which I never had before and I`m 43!!! I have ran 5km and 10 km races for many years and I have also completed a half marathon on my own but my legs never had definition and tone to them. Dawn`s sessions changed all that. The sessions included boxercise with leg work, weight training, High Intensity Interval Training ( HIIT ) and workouts focused on legs, arms and abs. No 2 workouts were ever the same so there was no chance of boredom. The sessions varied in length from 16mins to 30 mins but regardless of length Dawn had maximum intensity included. I looked forward to them as it was time for me to concentrate on myself and I also found them good for my state of mind. I got results really quickly along with great advice and demonstration from Dawn. She advised me on what I should eat for max results. Dawn also made sure that I was performing the exercises correctly and advised me in a kind and professional manner when I wasnt performing them correctly so that I didnt injure myself in order to get maximum results for my efforts!! Dawn had me sweating after 5mins - it would normally take me 15mins of running on my own to sweat like that - no wonder I toned up so much so quickly.”
